The Friends of Coda are a fundraising group of volunteers that produce and manage events and activities here at Coda and in the local community. Since their formation in 2001 they have raised over £35,000 for the charity's work. Every penny of the money raised is used to support Coda's work with people in need, either through the purchase of equipment such as a sound beam for our music therapy services, supporting our broader bursary scheme for those in financial need or instigating a music project with another group within the local community like First Opportunities Special Needs Nursery in Ashley. In 2011 they contributed £3,000 towards the Music Therapy Rooms Project.
