Volunteers

Coda Music is a wonderful musical community and needs a large amount of money each year to continue offering a high quality service which is accessible to all and which continues the in-depth music therapy work with disabled people – some with profound and multiple disabilities. Giving time to Coda is a great way to make friends and helps us save money for better resources and expanding that community.

There’s a great feeling of team work and no experience is necessary. You can choose to focus on your favourite task, or alternatively help with a variety of jobs each time you volunteer - it’s up to you.

There is a tremendous variety of tasks which Coda’s many volunteers undertake. These range from assisting our early years tutor with her classes aged 2 years upwards, to looking after the flowers and plants, to DIY tasks to providing occasional administrative support and supporting our events programme. All help is always welcome.

Do contact Coda Music if you would like to offer some of your time in a friendly and positive environment.

Friends of Coda

The Friends of Coda are an informal and friendly group of supporters who undertake a whole range of activity on behalf of Coda Music and raise funds for key aspects of Coda’s work including our Music Therapy with disabled people of all ages and Coda’s Bursary Scheme.

We are always on the look out for new Friends who would like to come and join us and lend their support to our fundraising activities. We have lots of fun too while we organise raffles, tombolas, Quiz nights and occasional events. For further information please contact Coda Music and ask about joining the Friends.
