Summer Term Exams

We are pleased to report that Coda Music Trust students achieved great success in their music examinations accredited by Trinity Guildhall. Of 22 students entered, Coda students achieved a 100% pass rate with 5 students being awarded distinctions. Of the remaining 17 students, 12 achieved merits and 5 had passes.

Students were sitting a wide range of instruments - across Grades 1 to Grade 8 - including Piano, Violin, Viola, and Classical Guitar.

Coda has a very broad approach to music education, offering opportunities for creativity, improvisation and ensemble work and does not simply teach to exams, but it is always excellent to see students of all ages do well in their examinations - not only for their own sense of achievement, but because it is a really good external indication of the quality of our teaching.
