On Sunday May 20th at 7pm, Poole Audi showrooms will be transformed into a concert hall for a fundraising recital by Jack Maguire and Barbara Henvest (piano) in aid of the Coda Fiddle Orchestra.
The Fiddle Orchestra is Bournemouth's "Sistema" project for young violinists, providing tuition, rehearsals and performance opportunities for children and young people across the town.
This special evening offers a sumptious buffet with New Zealand wines, an opportunity to win wonderful prizes in the silent auction, a chance to explore the newest high performance Audi models in the showroom, and most importantly, an outstanding performance of popular violin classics by Jack Maguire in the mode of Andre Rieu.
Jack is one of Britain's most respected violinists, former leader of the Royal Ballet Orchestra and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Director of the Coda Fiddle Orchestra.
Tickets at £17.50 are still available for this unique event and reservations can be made through Maurice Patterson MBE, by email by clicking here
Please join us. We need your support.
Coda is closed Monday 7th May. Have a lovely bank holiday and we will be open as usual tomorrow.

All our tutors are highly experienced teachers, exceptional musicians and fully CRB checked. Thanks to the generous support of two local businesses and a gang of volunteers there have been some major changes to our home this week!
The two old portacabins that started to leak and fall apart last year have finally been demolished and removed with the help of staff from Hoburne Holiday Parks in Bashley and skips donated by New Milton Sand and Ballast.
Their support, worth well over £1000, has transformed our home for everyone who comes to Coda and we are extremely grateful for their help.

In the coming months we will be creating a vegetable garden and places to play and wait in the new space, and with recording studios opening here in the spring, things continue to change at Coda!
To find out more about our development plans or to volunteer at Coda please get in touch.
Don't miss Rachel More, Coda's vocal coach and some of her students from Coda at the Swing Unlimited Jazz Club this Wednesday.
Rachel will be singing alongside the Swing Unlimited Big Band for a night full of classic jazz songs originally sung by the true jazz divas such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Peggy Lee and Frank Sinatra to name but a few (well, divas can be male too!).
The show is at Centre Stage in Bournemouth, a nice, cosy, cabaret style venue with round tables, candlelight and a good bar and food.
Don't miss it!

2. Coda is more than just a music lesson. Enjoying and playing music is a great way to make new friends and there is a wonderful social side to learning at Coda, especially within the groups we run. We also offer free parking, a place to have a cup of tea and a chat, and a lovely rural setting to spend some quiet time while you wait for your child’s lesson to finish. Read more »
