At Coda Music Centre in the New Forest we offer music tuition and lessons to individuals and to pairs and groups of students of all ages in piano, strings, woodwind, guitars, drums and vocals. Classes are offered at a variety of times: mornings, early afternoons, late afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Our music lessons are competitively priced with groups typically costing from £5 and individual tuition from £11.50. A Taster Session at just £5 enables you to try us out with no commitment.
Over 400 people learn at Coda each week and our team of musicians are highly experienced teachers adept at working with all ages and standards and everyone at Coda is fully CRB checked.
Through its unique Young Music Makers Programme, Coda Music also offers fun music sessions for children from the age of 18 months upwards. The fun and supportive environment naturally draws children into the learning activities. Activities are fast-paced; incorporate games, songs, dances, and ensemble playing; and involve a variety of instruments. Parents actively participate with their child in the very early years.
Coda Music also offers opportunities for all ages to join choirs (Coda Community Choir; Coda Choir) and a range of diverse ensembles suitable for differing levels of ability. In addition, Coda programmes workshops, projects and holiday activities.
Tuition is available for all ages from 1-100 years!

In order to support students who may have difficulty in affording the full cost of lessons or music therapy sessions, Coda Music Trust has set aside modest funds for a bursary scheme. The bursary fund is subject to funds being available and is always the subject of fundraising and appeals. Do contact the administrator at Coda, who will give advice on how to apply for a bursary.
