We culminate the first week of the Summer Term with a very special visit to Coda by Tinderbox, the wonderful duo of Monique Houraghan and Dan Tucker whose acoustic folk/pop music has been called "delectable" and is renowned for it's distinctive ‘honey-like’ vocals and intricate fingerstyle guitar.
The workshop, on Saturday 20th April, will focus on helping you to write and construct lyrics, compose accompaniments, and develop arrangements for live performance, and Tinderbox will be joined by their long-time collaborator, senior lecturer in popular music at Southampton Uni and Coda friend, Bob Burke.
If you are a singer, guitarist or songwriter looking for lyrical ideas, are stuck playing the same chords or just need some inspiration then Saturday's workshop is just the tonic. Players of all ages and all standards are welcome and it is a chance to get advice and support from some of the most talented musicians around so please join us. Read more »
