About the exhibition
This Summer, we’re inviting young artists aged 4–18 across Dorset and the New Forest to submit artwork responding to the theme of ‘Play’.
Exhibition Dates: Sat 7 November – Sun 20 December 2026
We want to celebrate the creativity, ideas and imagination of local young people. Show us what inspires you, what you're curious about, what you love, or simply what ‘Play’ means to you.

Submissions Open: Mon 13th July 2026
Submission Deadline: Thurs 1st October 2026
Artists Notified: Mon 19th October 2026
How to submit
Step 1: Register your submission by paying the £3 submission fee* below.
Step 2: Once you've registered, we'll email you with everything you need to know to submit your artwork, including where to send your image and the information we'll need.
*The £3 submission fee helps us cover the costs of running the exhibition and celebrating young artists across Dorset and the New Forest. If the cost would prevent you from taking part, please get in touch with us via heidi@coda.org.uk.
